Why Wildgrass
Rooted in this specific terrain.
We started Wildgrass because too many Front Range homeowners were spending money on landscapes that looked great at planting and struggled through their first Colorado summer — species chosen for a catalog photo, not an Englewood microclimate. Our approach is rooted in this specific terrain: the clay soils, the UV load, the freeze-thaw cycles, and the water-wise practices that let a yard actually thrive here without fighting it every season. We work with native and adaptive plants wherever they fit, and we build maintenance plans that keep properties looking sharp through Colorado's full range of seasons. Every project starts with a real conversation about what you want your outdoor space to do for you.
We design around the forces that break ordinary landscapes here:
- Hail
- Drought
- UV load
- Freeze-thaw
- Clay soil
- Altitude
What neighbors say
Rated 4.9 across 108 reviews.
The two things that come up most: they show up when they say they will, and they leave the property looking better than the photos.
They turned a patchy, tired backyard into the nicest space on the block. The before-and-afters on their site are exactly what we got — they delivered what they showed. Worth every penny.
What sets them apart is they actually show up and finish. Hardscape patio and a new walkway, done on the schedule they promised, and they left the yard cleaner than they found it. So rare in this business.
We're on their maintenance plan now and the yard has never looked better. Same crew every visit, they know our property, and they catch things before they become problems. Set-and-forget peace of mind.
Asked for a water-wise redesign given the drought rules and they nailed it — native plants, smart irrigation, and it still looks lush. They clearly know Colorado yards, not some out-of-state playbook.
Full design-build of the front yard plus a retaining wall. Detailed quote, no surprises, and the project manager kept us in the loop the whole way. The curb appeal is unreal now.
Reliable for mowing all season and they handle our snow removal in winter too, so it's one call year-round. Four stars only because spring booking fills up fast — get on the schedule early.

Good questions
Answers before you call.
Do you offer recurring lawn maintenance plans?
Yes — recurring maintenance is one of our most popular services. We set up weekly or bi-weekly mowing schedules and can layer in seasonal cleanups, irrigation service, and other visits so your property stays on track without you having to coordinate each one separately.
Do you work with native and drought-tolerant plants?
Yes, and it's a big part of what we do. Native and adaptive plants are genuinely better suited to the Front Range than most of what ends up in Colorado yards — they need less water and hold up through the conditions that stress other species. We can incorporate them into a new design or help you transition an existing landscape to lower-water plantings.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Englewood and the surrounding Front Range communities — including Centennial, Littleton, Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village, and Sheridan. Not sure if your address falls in our range? Give us a call and we'll let you know.
How does the free walk-through work?
We come out to your property, walk the space with you, and talk through what you're hoping to accomplish — whether that's a new design, a recurring maintenance plan, or a one-time project. No cost, no pressure. From there we put together a quote and go over it with you before any work starts.
Do you handle irrigation winterization and spring start-up?
Yes. Winterizing your irrigation system before the first hard freeze is one of the most important annual maintenance steps in Colorado — a missed zone can mean cracked lines and a costly spring repair. We handle both fall blow-outs and spring start-ups, as well as repairs on existing systems.
Do you offer seasonal snow removal contracts?
Yes, seasonal contracts are available for residential driveways and walks as well as small commercial properties. Contract customers get priority placement on the route — which is the part that matters most after an overnight storm when everyone is calling at once.
